Aloha! I’m Erick Mendoza.

Born in California and raised in Arizona, I’m part of the first U.S.-born generation in my Mexican family. My parents bravely returned to this land of our ancestors, and though poverty was a constant companion, it never held me back. In 2013, I graduated from The Art Institute of Phoenix and immediately immersed myself in Arizona’s art scene—turning every challenge into an opportunity for creativity.

Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with Barrett‑Jackson—The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions—and launched Trap Culture AZ, a cannabis‑festival brand celebrated for its immersive events. I’ve also crafted branding for local favorites like Carniceria Guadalajara, designing everything from logos and uniforms to digital menus and signage.

In 2024, I made the life‑changing move to Oahu, Hawaii, where the island’s natural beauty and vibrant aloha spirit fuel my imagination. I completed UI/UX courses at Honolulu Community College and will continue growing my skill set throughout 2025. Now, Erick M Designs is proudly based in Oahu, bringing creativity without borders to locals and beyond.
